Service records every 12,000km / 12 months
Valve clearance check every 24,000km: ask when it was last doneunverified

What to look for
Built to a budget and sprung for a very light rider. A normal Australian adult will use up most of the suspension travel just sitting on the bike (excessive sag), causing it to easily bottom out on small trail bumps.
Check for: Clutch slip under heavy load Shows up: Any
What to look for
The slip-and-assist clutch is great for light lever pull, but the springs are very soft. If ridden hard off-road in deep sand or mud, the clutch can begin to slip prematurely.
